Contract Manager

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Contract Manager to manage construction projects from planning through to completion. This role involves supervising teams, coordinating with architects and technical professionals, and ensuring that all aspects of the project align with contractual terms, quality standards, legal obligations, and client expectations.

The role is crucial to the business and offers an opportunity for the right candidate to work on a variety of dynamic projects, contributing directly to the company’s continued growth in the UK market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draws up budgets and time schedules for construction projects based on client specifications and planning inputs. Briefs the contractors, and suppliers, ensuring consistent communication and expectation alignment.
  • Gathers and assembles documentation and data for invoicing and project closure.
  • Plans construction schedules after consulting with architects, chartered architectural technologists, and surveyors.
  • Regularly inspects sites, monitors progress, quality, and compliance with legal and contractual requirements.
  • Identifies any construction defects or deviations and recommends corrective actions.
  • Maintains detailed project records, monitors key performance indicators, and produces regular reports.
  • Assesses the impact of developments on traffic and transport infrastructure, including modelling congestion and transport flow.
  • Evaluates traffic management proposals, including congestion charging and parking regulation schemes.
  • Analyzes accident-prone areas (“blackspots”) to improve road safety through planning input.
  • Prepares comprehensive reports for planning authorities and may represent the company when required. Candidate Profile

Candidate Profile

We welcome applicants with the following qualities and experience:

  • Previous experience (minimum 3 years) in construction or contract management, ideally in a client-facing and supervisory role.
  • Familiarity with UK building standards, health and safety regulations, and contract compliance procedures.
  • Ability to manage multi-site projects, liaise with various technical stakeholders, and meet deadlines and cost targets.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Experience working with project management tools, reporting systems, and digital collaboration platforms.
  • A relevant professional qualification or background is preferred, though not essential.

Pay: £35,000.00-£37,000.00 per year

Key Responsibilities

Pay: £40,000.00 per year
Schedule: Day shift. Monday to Friday
